Trail Condition Updates

DUN-GOOD RIDERS: OPEN. Snowmobile and Year 'round ATV/UTV trials in the Goodman-Dunbar areas of Northwest Marinette County. The Dun-Good trails are open and being groomed. We currently have a 2"-8" base with poor conditions along the highway and road crossing, to very good conditions in the woods. We need more snow as conditions are getting icy with the more use until we can get the groomer back out. Currently moderate temperatures and no snow in the forecast so please check back prior to planning your trips to see if the conditions have changed. With the icy conditions please slow down. PEMENEE RIVER RIDERS: Snowmobile and year 'round ATV/UTV trails located in the Pembine, Beecher Niagara areas. Trails are OPEN to ATVUTV and snowmobiles. Corridor one, from the mine to Norway, is not groomed, and in poor condition only the northern portion is only open to snowmobiles. Corridor three from Pembine to Niagara is groomed and in good to very good condition. Trail 16 from Pembine to the Dunbar intersection is groomed and in good-very good condition. RANGER CITY RIDERS: Snowmobile only trails located in the Amberg-Beecher-Wausaukee areas. CLOSED. We need more snow and colder temps. Continue to check back for trail updates. EVENTS: 1/21/23 Club Ride @10am (pending snow) at the Clubhouse and Annual Chili Cook Off, chili judging @ 4:30pm with chili and beverages to follow. 1/28/23 Meat Raffle @ Sociables 2pm-5pm, at the junction of CTY. NEAR NORTH TRAIL RIDERS OF ATHELSTANE: Snowmobile & Year-Round ATV/UTV Trails located in Athelstane and Silver Cliff areas. CLOSED. The groomer was out last night and it's reported that there is very little snow and a very thin snow covering on the trails so needless to say the Near North Trails remain closed until we get snow. Hopefully people will stay off of the trails to preserve what little snow we have. Hopefully we get some snow soon. EVENT: Meat Raffle on January 14th @ Sally & JC's Northwoods Bar on the corner of Northway Drive and Benson Lake Road from 1:00 until 4:00
IRON SNOW SHOE: Snowmobile and year 'round atv/utv trails northwest of Crivitz, in the Twin Bridge, Crooked Lake, Silver Cliff, and Thunder Mountain areas. Trails Are CLOSED. Sad to say but the ISSI trails are still closed. Some snow is predicted for tomorrow night and then next week. Keep your fingers crossed. ATV/UTV are still able to ride all town roads in the Town of Stephenson however ALL county roads are closed to ATV/UTVs. (example of roads closed: County Road A, County Road C, County Road X) EVENTS: High Falls Radar Runs Saturday January 28 & February 11, 2023
KUMALONG SNO-RIDERS: Snowmobile only trails in the Coleman-Pound-Peshtigo-Crivitz areas. CLOSED. We remain closed. We have not received any new snow. We need cold temps to freeze down swamps and a good amount of snow before we can reopen.
RIVER ROAD RIDERS: Snowmobile Only Trails that cover Crivitz, Porterfield, Wausaukee, east to Marinette and south to Peshtigo. CLOSED! RRR's trails are snowmobile trails only. ATVs/UTVs are not allowed. Due to the lack of snow, our trails remain closed. Some trails have been re-routed in places, so please watch for the signs. With hopes of a good snowstorm soon, we can get out and enjoy the trails.
1/10/2023 UPDATE!!! As of today, Jan. 10. 2023, Dun-Good Riders and Pemenee River Riders are the only clubs in Marinette County that are open. Both are open for snowmobiles, atv's & utv's. Dun-Good trails are located in the far northwest side of the County, in the Dunbar & Goodman areas. Pemenee River Riders are located in the far northeast side of the County, in the Pembine, Beecher & Niagara areas. All clubs south of there are closed; Near North (Athelstane), Ranger City Riders (Amberg), Iron Snow Shoe (west of Crivitz), Kumalong (Coleman) and River Road Riders (Marinette).

Pemenee River Riders is a non-profit organization that maintain ATV/UTV and snowmobile trails in Pembine, Beecher, and Niagara areas of Marinette County. Our trails join with all surrounding area trails. We have a Park & Ride just north of town, you can ride from there for many miles of Northwoods enjoyment. Many local businesses are accessible from the trails for food, gas and more.
Come ride in the beautiful North Woods of Northern Marinette County. Whether you snowmobile, ATV or UTV - we have the trails for you. Something for everyone!
