1/22/19- Trail Report

Here is the Marinette County trial report for today, Tuesday, 1/22/19. Look for us to update the reports after the storm and we see what it brings our way.

PEMENEE RIVER RIDERS: Trails are in good condition and are being groomed. Let’s hope this storm system brings some more snow for us. Trails are open to ATV/UTV's .
DUN-GOOD RIDERS: The trails are open & being groomed regularly. Trails in excellent condition. Snow covered icy base. Lots of happy riders! Trails are in really nice riding condition. More snow will make our trails excellent! We'll update our trail report after we see what the storm brings us. Trails are open for snowmobiles and winter atv/utv use. Use caution around Kidd Lake, lots of logging in that area.
NEAR NORTH: The Near North trails have been groomed this past weekend, They are in very good riding condition with the ice base and freezing temperatures. Anticipating a good snow fall coming on Tuesday night and Wednesday. we'll update our report after we see what the storm brings us. Trails open to winter ATV's and UTV use where allowed.

RANGER CITY RIDERS (snowmobile only) - Our trails are in good riding conditions. We will be out grooming before the weekend and hopefully we get some snow with this week’s storm. With the recent cold temps it will allow us to groom across our swamps making our trail system fully open and groomed. As always please ride with caution! PLEASE NOTE LOGGING OPERATIONS: Our north end of the East Trail between Marek Road and Forest Road 404 is currently being logged and we are advising using caution through this area. This area is extremely icy and should ride with caution.

IRON SNOW SHOE:
Trail Conditions: Good
Snow Cover: 4 to 5 inches in most areas
Date of Report: January 21, 2019
Area Report:
What a GREAT weekend. We got a lot a positive feedback from the riders over the past few days. The trail remains in good to very good condition. We rode the entire trail system this weekend and had some great riding. The exception is that plowed field on the south end of the River Trail. We do need some snow, but these groomer guys are doing a fantastic job with the little bit we do have. Weather calls for snow Tuesday…how about I update you Wednesday or Thursday after the storm is over. This could potentially put us in Excellent Condition???
